By providing their phone number, the customer thereby consents to receiving  an "initial contact" SMS/MMS "text" message for conversational purposes such as: reminders, promotions, alerts, or updates with existing or prospective customers, merchants, partners, etc.   However, we will utilize the "double opt in" method of answering "yes" or "no" to confirm the customer's consent to engage in conversational messages.  This will ensure customer privacy as well as legal compliance.

Initial messages from Northwoods Operations will adhere to express consent guidelines by including the: Business Name, Employee Name, Reason for Contact, Estimated Frequency, Rates Disclaimer, and Opt Out Instructions.

The rates disclaimer will be shortened to the phrase "message and data rates may apply."  This means that by agreeing to receive text messages, the customer acknowledges that standard text messaging rates from their wireless carrier may apply.   Any costs related to receiving a text message are the responsibility of the individual receiving the messages. Customers should check with their cellphone provider for details on expenses related to receiving text messages.

The customer may elect to opt out of our SMS communications by simply responding "STOP" or "OPT OUT."

Northwoods Operations does not share or sell SMS opt-in, or phone number information for any purpose to ANY other party.

This website uses a website analytics service named TWIPLA.  TWIPLA is a service that measures traffic on our website and collects general information from our website visitors. We create statistics to improve the experience of our website visitors. We never use cookies for this purpose.

As a website operator using TWIPLA to conduct reach measurement, depending on the level of data protection we have activated, we may process information about the device you are using and its characteristics, information about technical characteristics of the website visit, the number of page visits and statistically relevant behavior of our website visitors.
